Solving player role control in draft games

Was reading the latest Ask Rito where they were talking about a request to allow "vetos" for positions, so you could avoid certain positions you don't want to play. Riot responded that queue times would be ridiculous because no one would choose support. Welp, it just so happened that the question previous they were talking about LP splashing, which led me to a chocolate and peanut butter moment:

When airline oversell flights they give vouchers out as incentive for people to give up their seat. At first the offer is crap and no one does it. But, as time passes, and the rewards get higher and higher, people give up their seat for the fat and valuable voucher. It is an example of a market working well.

Do the exact same thing in League. Give us all kinds of control over which role we want to play. Say that I say Mid Only. Well, right from the start, it tells me that I'm going to have -2 splash LP to all roles because there are too many people wanting mid. As time passes, it can get worse. And/or, they can simply send me offers that are better. "You can get in a Support game right now and for a win we will give you +4 splash LP!" It ultimately can't be gamed because of market forces. Tons of people play league, and many would be happy to go to a different role in many cases in order to get an extra benefit for doing so. It is justifiable in a ranked system, because the roles people don't want to play are some combination of less fun and less effective. Surely the rewards for excelling in that context could be better.

This might not work at the highest ELOs where the player pool is both much smaller and more serious, which could lead to deviant behaviour. But I guarantee at low ELO you would have plenty of midlane mids who would be happy to splash less to get their role - maybe even get a little less LP for a win and more for a loss IN the mid - as well as plenty who would be psyched to take a different role on offer if it was splashing a lot of LP around.

I may not have the right exact solution here but somewhere in these dynamics is a system that would remove one of the most odious aspects of league currently: being forced into roles you don't want and/or negatie effects like queue dodging or AFKing when someone else has it happen to them too.
