Need Advice Winning Promos

Yo. So I have been through Gold Promos three times now, and I've failed each time. And each time, it hasn't been even close.

Usually, I am on a win streak getting there, anywhere from four to six games, but I get into promos and its three instant losses in a row. Just complete stomps from the other team and I feel like I'm behind the entire time.

Is it just the pressure? The Stress? Because god damn each time it gets harder and harder to even want to go back to ranked at all.

i was through plat promos 14 times before i got it to stick

my advice ignore it most peoples mistakes when playing promos is that they start playing not to lose instead of to win and that is in fact different

playing to win will net you more wins playing not to lose will net you more losses

Let me give you some strategy tips.

1.) At the end of the day make sure you are playing your best. Practice your mechanics before entering your promos. Play your best role to the best of your ability. You directly influence your prospects of winning 100% percent of the time. You are the only constant in a pool of variables. Make sure you dont become a hindrance to your success.

2.) Talk less, play more. It is not worth acknowledging allied members mistakes, or pointing them out. It is solo queue, its a waste of time. Reducing your teams moral or making allies defensive will only cost you late game.

3.) Hit the enemy where they are weak. Your goal is to drive a wedge into the enemy teams teamwork and moral.

Killing the jungler repeatedly: prevents enemy ganks to your lane. Killing the bot laner: prevents them from participating in team fights. Killing the support: prevents bot lane from coordinating. Killing top laner: will aggro enemy junglers attention. Contesting enemy team buffs successfully: throws off the jungler.

The moment you see that all chat message, "so & so is feeding report him" is when you know you can start grouping up and just look to close the game out.

Where skill doesnt work, play the mind game to win.

4.) Memorize basic strategies.

If you just had a successful gank to a lane and the enemy teleports back, and your allied laner is still relatively healthy, just dive the enemy again.

If someone doesnt have a summoner, keep fighting.

Use your wards actively, and dont be afraid to leave lane or counter jungle.

5.) Pick meta champions when you think you've reached a peak for your mechanical skills for the time being.
