There NEEDS to be more options for key items stats/passives/actives
Item Equality
is the only ad option for grievous wounds and it is heavily shadowed by
and its (better for many situations) passive , making it less of a desired item and more of a forced item.
the passive is a near MUST HAVE on many champions, but there is no AP variant so the stats are lost on it to them.
the ONLY solid armor option for AP Mages, and the active is good, but since the only stats are AP and armor, AD champs cant make this item fit into their build.
a great item but with the current meta being AD heavy, an AD variant would be nice (make the minions invulnerable to basic attacks and the item gives AD and armor based stats).
the nice scaling this gives would be mostly lost to any non-AP champion and imo a nice scaling AD based item would be cool.
variant where it could give 3% spell vamp 10 ap and keep the 80 hp.
should have a similar AD based alternative where it grants armor reduction and gives armor and AD.
an item that grants nearby allies armor.
is the only option for AP only spell vamp while there are multiple options of life steal.
Items that could use changes
should have both passives of
not just the healing
does not give any decent stats that make it unique enough to justify its purchase because

do its job to a similar extent and are more useful. Plus the new mastery gives the passive mana regen (1.5% not 2% but it is free so who cares).

where the easy damage output gained typically becomes too much to handle for most early to mid game champions to the point of breaking the game's balance.
should either be made neutral (does not give ad or ap) or gives both AD and AP.
