In the past couple of months, I made a habit out of watching high elo replays to improve
Though you could learn something from 20-30% of the games, most of these replays are just snowballs. Almost none of them feature comebacks or how to play from behind (if this is even possible anymore). The enemy makes one or a few mistakes, their lane gets camped and they are made a non factor instantly.
It's ironic because one would think players of the highest skill levels should be really cancelling each other out and those games should ideally be taking longer to win because everyone knows how to play and the mistakes should be at a minimum in contrast to low elo games. Most of these replays rarely go over 23-25 minutes and are even shorter sometimes too.
I think the best path to take with this game is to make it way less snowbally and reduce the damage. 1 mistake shouldn't cost you everything, and junglers gank so often that coming back is even more difficult.
