Overall game balance discussion

A while back, meddler made a comment on how Crit is really really strong cause it has to be able to pass through all the Armor/Reduction in the system, and so if they nerf Crit, and Armor, it stops damage creep, and makes the game healthier. Cause now a 1v1 between 2 ADCs late game isn't 3-2 auto attacks, yet a 1v1 between a tank and an ADC wouldn't take 2 years, because the tank has less armor in general.

Now I think this would be a GREAT change, and I'd like to discuss it, so here are my thoughts on this:

For so long I've hated that this game has become all burst, and no DPS. DPS only works if you're against a tank, but if against any squishy, it's just who has faster burst, even ADCs like Vayne/Caitlyn blow up squishies in 3 AAs, yes it's not as bursty as say talon, but it still makes the first shot almost always decide the fight.

So introducing less Armor in the system in general, + nerfing Crit damage would achieve the following: 1- ADCs becoming true DPS, and not Burst champions. 2- Letting ADCs shred tanks, without shredding squishies even harder.

But then also Armor Pen has to be nerfed to make sure it doesn't kill tanks really easy. But if you do that, assassins won't be able to even kill squishies. So you have to decrease the base/per level armor for squishy champions. You do that and you have to nerf base damages for AD bruisers and tanks (either ability base damages, or just base AD/AP), or else they'll be way too effective, cause squishies don't have enough resistances.

Of course the above changes can also be buffs, not nerfs, even though I don't recommend it, so for example, instead of nerfing base/per level armor, you could give assassins innate armor pen, or buff their ratios... etc.

I'm sure this doesn't work for some reason, or Riot would have done it already, so share your opinions in the comments please, and thanks for reading.
