Is there a camera setting to disable the back and forth with ryze ult?

Not sure who designed the camera interaction with his ult, but they missed the mark if they were going for something good. Its almost as bad and disorienting as old urgot ult camera.

Is there a setting somewhere that can fix this or is it just perma-fucked by default?

Example of what I want is for my camera not to be shifted back to where I was and then drag back to where I am going (blinding me to where the enemy moves to during that transition) and for it to be more like twisted fates teleport, being free camera.
