I think I know what'll make more players want to play support, another support item gold item

is for tank supports.

is for AP pokey supports.

is for more passive supports/utility based ones.

Champs like are off meta supports/not traditional but work due to the ap support item.

People want to play another "off meta" support bot lane that none of the support items truly fit, an AD support item.

I don't know how to make the item but myself and many many others want to be able to play AD supports but have no reliable items.

Example champions that would be off meta supports such as but AD:

Maybe not all of them would work but people would pick them up. The biggest weakness of them right now is no true viable support item. If there were one they would be weaker vs poke champs and utility but stronger vs tanky/engage ones.
