Why is match making so bad these past few days?

I am getting noting but flamers, trolls, and quitters. Past 8 games have not even been close and what the fuck is with this support meta. I've seen everything from Ziggs sup to Camile. I get flamed to shit for playing Zyra or Kayle. What is the meta right now? Every game starts on a knife edge and once its pushed one way its over. Between first tower and first kill gold who ever get the first winning lane gets one fed badass to snowball the rest of the game.
