Well, living in the countryside, there's no real consistency for me ping-wise.
On a good-day/night (meaning my internet is not being throttled by my ISP), due to living in Oregon, my ping would be 60-63; that's the ping I'm supposed to get.
What I actually get (due to throttling, a family that streams videos frequently, and simply my location [thus having internet obtained through a satellite instead of wires underground, causing interference]) is anywhere from 150-250, and there's no constant between that range. It fluctuates constantly until my entire family is asleep and I've waited a little bit so my ISP is no longer observing my throughput, and then I get the desired 60-63 (which is the best ping I could possibly get in my location as well as peeps in California) simply due to server location.
