Context on Grading System in Featured Game Modes

Dear Riot,

I apologize if this is on the wrong boards but just wanted to see if you could offer a little bit of context on the Grading system as it pertains to the featured game modes as my personal experiences during the Poro King weekend seem to suggest that the system isn't calibrated appropriately for these modes.

Now, I understand that the grading system is supposed to grade my individual play on my character in my role against other players with the same champion/role combination and then calculates the grade accordingly. In the context of SR, those character/role combinations are easily define and therefore easier to compare and calculate; a Braum support going 2/3/21 on a winning team should receive a higher grade than a 0/12/4 losing Braum in the same role. In the context of a mode like ARAM/Ascension/Poro King/etc. where the roles are more fluid in definition, how are these champion/roles defined, resulting in the grade given for a performance.

Now, I'm not sure why my match history links aren't working from my end but I will include them for reference and fill in the details available through my client for the 3 games I played in a row, all wins, all from this weekend of Poro King, that I'm concerned about regarding this calibration.

Champion: Lux Stats: 10/2/33 | 10k Gold (tie 2nd) | 18k damage (4th) | 22 CS (4th)| 21.5 KDA | 90% Kill Part.| Grade: A (might have been A- but my season highest is A so definitely not higher) Note: Second death came in final few seconds of game and first was at the very beginning)

Now this isn't meant as some QQ moment, nor was my objective in playing the mode to obtain a mystery chest or S ranking but to enjoy the mode, but after these 3 games in a row, all of which I felt were incredibly high-caliber games (particularly for a mode where dying is inherent to buying), the rewards and grading system felt deeply unsatisfying and frustrating to the point where I'm questioning what else I have to do to get these grades. I'm assuming such feelings were not your intentions for a rewards & mastery system.

Perhaps this was a bit of an anomaly or perhaps there were just that many more Poro King Lux players going X/1 or 0/X with higher CS but something about this system and experience seemed particularly flawed and therefore, I was hoping that someone could shine some light on the featured modes and grading system.
