A Mordekaiser Re-Rework concept 2.0
Q: No longer deals bonus damage to single targets.
When Mordekaiser hits a single target, he ignores 7-35% of the target’s magic resistance.
Ap scaling increased to 70% from 60%
E: No longer grants magic penetration.
Cooldown decreased to 23 - 11 seconds from 24 - 12 seconds
- Mordekaiser is one of the only ap champions who can take conqueror. Because of this, I don’t think he needs the magic penetration on all of his abilities. That being said however, I still think Mordekaiser should maintain some remanence of his magic penetration. Giving him magic penetration on his q along with an increase to its scaling will make him worse early game, but better late game.
R: No longer steals 10% of the target’s base stats.
Mordekaiser’s passive is now active for the entire duration, and he gains 4 - 8% increased ability power for the duration.
Upon killing the target, Mordekaiser consumes their soul, gaining a ghost of that champion similar to his old ultimate. Procing your passive will create the same effect around the ghost, but will only deal 50% damage. This ghost will follow you into the death realm, gaining the same active passive.
- Mordekaiser in his lore is a brutal warlord who enslaves souls into an eternity of agonizing servitude. However his ultimate doesn’t really reflect this idea. These changes would hopefully make his ultimate more interesting, more fun, and more true to his character.
