Playing League for 2 years, still complete garbage.

I just don't know what I'm doing wrong! I've watched so many streams and vids since I started playing, I've played more ranked games than anyone else I know this season, yet I'm still regularly feeding and getting flamed even though I'm trying my best. I can't land skill shots, I can't dodge skill shots, I NEVER look at my map even when I try to remember, I never ward, or try to time summoners or ults, my game sense is 0, I fat finger every ability (I'll try and flash but my finger was on the wrong key entirely, I'm constantly surprised by how much damage someone else deals and how little I deal, and I just don't see what to do! I do realise this is a little QQ, but I just don't see myself improving at this rate.

I was garbage for my first two years too...

Or at least in my mind.

But the last few months i have felt like my ability has improved. Just keep at it and you will get over the hump and out of the slump.

Does it matter if you don't improve? I'm never going to be Federer, but I still play tennis (complete bollox -I'm far to slack these days). I mean it's a good aim to try and improve, but it's not the be all end all.

Hey man I would first try and take a step back and make sure your having fun. No point in playing if you get upset every game. Its cool that you want to improve and it sounds like you have been trying to. Learning this game definitely takes time so I would not be too hard on yourself. Even after only two years your ranked right in the middle around the 50% mark, which is not bad at all. There so many champions, items, and other things to learn so it does take time. It sounds like right now you are still testing your limits as far as champions and damage while other players around you are more aware of their limits. This does take time to learn.

You say you feeding a lot and get flamed. When you are laning verse someone who gets ahead of you in levels or kills how you playing that match up? A lot of players try to keep fighting a lane opponent who is ahead and it turns into them feeding and putting the other player more ahead. It takes time but learning to play from behind is important. It comes down to trying to safely cs and farm up and waiting for assistance and to make plays later in the game.

Getting used to looking more at the mini map is huge so keep trying to get better at it. Most of us are not pros at it, but I can definitely say map awareness is huge.

You don't have to improve at everything at once. Sometimes you look at pros and they give lots of tips and some of those tips are important but only at a high elo level. Just focus on some basic things and work your way up. That's what I have focused on and once I get better at some things and get more comfortable then I start focusing on other aspects of my game.

at least it sounds like u know what u are doing wrong. Might i suggest playing bot games and working on these things, map awareness etc, watch for ur power spikes and the simple stuff( cs'ing) yues the ai is shit but doesnt mean that u cant get yourself used to doing things like warding(even though bots rarely roam out of lane) checking ur map etween cs( im still bad at this) watch the bots for when abilities are on cd so u know when u can trade. All these things you dont have to get rekted in a pvp game to practice. ive been doing this since last season (i was b5 and pissed off about it) and it has helped quite a bit. Im still in bronze but i am slowly getting out and i can feel myself getting better. I also watch youtube video's were ppl are being coached or just general one about how to trade and freeze waves regularly so that i think about doing these things. It really sounds like u have one of the main problems i used to have last year and that is playing the game on auto pilot just doing things and not thinking about why or when you can/should be doing them. League requires quite a bit of thinking, decision making and disipline try to force yourself into good habits and after a while it will pay off. Best of luck to you
