Bring Back Dominion

This is going to be a very simple post. I've been playing since Season 2 of League, and throughout the entire games life I've loved everything that Riot has ever done. EXCEPT for the removal of Dominion, this game was fun, fast paced, balanced, relaxing, competitive.. I could go on. I understand that this game mode was not a "popular" mode, but it was on the same level as ARAM before it got moved into the spot light by Riot. The community of dominion were trying there hardest to keep the game we loved to play, be starting a competitive league Dominate Dominion. It was a shame to see the game end. Recently i played Twisted Treeline and it sparked the memories in my mind of when it use to be Summoner's Rift, Twisted Treeline, and Dominion. Now its become but a figment of our imagination, the only thing we have to remember it by is an Icon... and Ascension, but Ascension isnt the true glory of dominion. Dominion was never about a monster in the middle, or pushing down the nexus - It was a simple game of capture the flag that you could play to relax and un-tilt after a hard fought game you just lost in Ranked.\

I wish there will come a day when Dominion comes back, maybe with a competitive league backed by Riot, maybe just a game mode for fun, even a rotating game mode would be enough.

(Ascension isn't Dominion) Bring Back Dominion!

I loved Dominion. Dominion would definitely get me to play the game again.

I still love the excuse for why dominion got removed.

"It wasn't very popular." Well yeah, of course it's not gonna be when you never advertise it, ignore it for years, hav one guy assigned to balancing that mode but also working on SR, hav draft queue times that can legitimately reach hours, etc.

Dominion was riots alternative mode and they gave up a lot by letting it go. With 10 months of Classic SR and mini patches to that mode to guide the game into a good direction, and 2 months of Dominion League, a semipro mode that advertises Dominion and hosts it's tournament Riot would hav more time to devote to fixing the Rift but a semi casual mode to hold people over while SR is in its two month "Patching everything" period

Honestly, I overall just wish Riot would make Ascension a permanent game mode. Not only does that bring back the Crystal Scar for Hide and Seek but in general it would be nice having a third game mode again. One that didn't have the expectations Summoner's Rift holds and with the ability to actually pick your champion, unlike ARAM. Ascension becoming a permanent game mode would probably be one of the wisest decisions Riot could make.

Started playing in 2017, in one year or more didn't have chance to play it (And i played a lot of modes: Blood Moob/SG event/URF/ARURF/Winter ARURF/ Ascension/Dark Star Tresh mode)

I would probably be like the majority of players: i would not play it often (or at all) but it would be nice to at least see what is it, and why i see so many post on boards about it

Plz do, we need something other than SR and ARAM that's on the casual side. Dominion left a hole that has not yet been filled.

Would love to see Dominion return, as well as more alternative game modes in general. Would be a great way to respark interest in the game, at least as far as NA is concerned.

I would personally play a lot more if Dominion and/or Ascension were consistently available to play.

Fuck Dominion, I want Ascension back.

Give me my 20 minute slobberknocker teamfight-in-a-can because sometimes I want to play a quick aram but also just wanna pick my champ.

I never actually was fond of dominion itself but hide and seek using the map was always a nice waste of time to just relax

I have been trying to get back into this game again. I downloaded the game and went through the whole lost password BS. Got the game started and played around against some bots. This game has changes so much in the last few years I'm completely lost. Dominion was my go to. I rarely played summoners rift. But without Dominion I just don't see myself being a consistent player spending money on skins and such like I used to. I quit shortly after Dominion was removed. I see there is still no reason for me to come back to this game. The votes on this thread pretty much speak for itself. No one cares about dominion.
