Effectively Managing Just 2 Rune Pages

I'm after some tips on managing just 2 rune pages to cover what maybe several roles/champs. I feel a long way off buying extra pages as IP will be used to bag new champs. I've just hit level 30 and mainly I've had no prob setting up runes/masts for 2 specific champs for blind pick and being quick enough to 'lock' one of those roles in champ select. up till now its been talon mid or ww or xin jung. Lately I've been trying to get a handle on different champs and roles, as its a good thing to do anyway, but I've had a couple of experiences of being stuck with supp or top and just not being set up for it (and this bit might shock you) my fellow champ selectors aren't always accommodating. Ive not got enough champs to play ranked (spent early IP on runes) so I've just got a small pool of champs anyway. ATM ive got one page of quint AD, red AS, yellow armor, blue MR/CDR which is pretty versatile as use for WW, Xin and Ashe the other page is the same but AD swapped for lethality for Talon, Ive just aquired Alistar and Morgana as my Tank/CC options for if i get stuck with supp role but after some research the want VERY different rune sets.

Question! Do you guys with 2 rune pages just expect to play one of 2 specific champs when you blind pick? What if you get beat to this choice? Tips on versatile champs or different roles that can you use the same runes/masteries pages for very welcome!
