Whats your jungle clear path? Is there new routes for S8 that are more effective?

There is a new clear that gives you level 4 between 3:00-3:30 depending on the jungler. Its very specific and absues exact catchup XP values.

You have to do this exactly. Start at Wolves. Kill the large wolf and one small wolf. Clear Blue. Clear Gromp. Clear the last little Wolf. Clear raptors. Then clear Red. Boom! Level 4 already. You'll hit 4 before solo laners.

Downside of this is that a lot of junglers wont be healthy enough to gank safely aftwerwards. Works well on Udyr in my experience though

You can clear very differently depending on the champion you Play and on which map half you want to be present just incase.

There are champs like Rengar and Shaco, who'm i best made experience with going Blue, Wolves, Red, Birds, Gromp, bot side Scuttle then back.

Then there are champs like Zac and Kha'zix where i go Red, Birds, Wolves, visit river for heal plant and cheese mid for a first blood.

it really depends on how you want to Play and which champion you have. but one Thing to recommend. if you want to be healthy enough to get a gank done, avoid clearing gromp and Krugs on first clear. These two camps deal the most damage by far and also take the most time to clear.

There are far too many variables to determine a best clear in all honesty.

First and foremost is what is within your control and that is the champion you choose for jungle.

This will determine the health of your champion after every clear. It is not necessary to choose a jungle that can wipe many camps without needing to back, however. Master Yi, Xin, WW, and Shyv are all champions capable of clearing their jungle and then some without losing much health, but they may or may not be a right fit for your style.

The other things to consider are elements outside your control.

What side of the map is your team is one of those and will determine the strength of your leash depending on where you decide to start. Red side or blue side.

There is also the option of invasion, but this requires a team effort and a coordinated and precise attack against a single target so as to remove one enemy from their jungle and secure the location for a steal.

Then there is the threat of invasion and is an often enough occurrence that will slow your first clear and, in all likelihood, result in your champion being crippled for the remainder of their first clear to the point it forces you to back earlier than planned.

I've read into the early level 4 clear path and attempted it in the practice tool repeatedly. It is possible, certainly. But it relies heavily on luck.

You need the enemy to NOT invade blue. You need the enemy to NOT steal your red. And you need the enemy to NOT ward your Raptors at 2 minutes in. If any of these things happen then you will likely end up giving first blood simply because you tried to get to level 4 earlier than anyone else.

In fact, if this early 4 does become the norm then I will simply start my jungle clear by stealing enemy red and krugs and then ward enemy raptors so that my mid can easily get first blood on the enemy jungle.
