Should Yasuo's Ult drop him in front of the enemy, or behind them?

So Yasuo's Ultimate is kinda inconsistent as to where it prefers to drop him. I imagine this feature would be much more difficult for multiple targets hit, especially if they're spread out a bit, but for the sake of simplicity and this discussion let's focus on him hitting a single target. Should Yasuo's Ultimate drop him in front of the opponent (in between where he was upon casting his Ultimate and the target) or behind his opponent (on the opposite side of the opponent from his casting position).

Both sides have merits to them. Dropping him in front is a much safer position for Yasuo while he is in the air, and an immediate dash through the target will push him past the target, which is incredibly powerful if Yasuo means to chase you down. This of course will probably reinforce the whole "Yasuo's ult places him away from the tower" issue that a lot of people are complaining about, but I believe at least some of the complaining will go down if it's consistent in a clear and explainable way. The other way, putting Yasuo behind his target, guarantees the opposite. It's slightly more dangerous of a position if there's more than one threat to deal with, an immediate dash will pull him back towards where he started, which is weaker for chasing but could help disengaging, and it's more than likely to toss Yasuo under tower.

If a change like this would be implemented so that we have a much more consistent means of knowing where Yasuo is going to be when he ults, would you rather he blinks in front of you, or behind you?
