What happened to these champions?

The following thread is posting about, what happened to these champions?

Aatrox I remember when he first came out, he seemed so OP. Now he's just an after thought. His sustainability has been a let down due to all in champions that are much stronger then he is. His ult isn't very good. His knock up is all there is about him and once he's in there he can't do much.

Khazix Kha'Zix, the counterpart to Rengar. Kha'Zix was once a premier champion in this league. Now where is he? He's barely picked. And when he is Kha'Zix doesn't contibute. All of his damage is isolated targets, which means when you're grouping at teamfights his power is diminished. I used to play Kha'Zix so often because he was fun. Jumping around due to the resets. Then the nerfs hit him and he never recovered. Sure he has his spikes, but that's not what made Kha'Zix. He's supposed to be an assassin not a beefy bruiser like Rengar. Shaco And then we have the Demon Jester, Shaco. When I first joined League of Legends I loved playing Shaco. He was my favourite champion, he was the best at getting in and getting out. Tricking your opponents to attack his clone and then go in and kill him while they're low. Then new champions came out and Shaco couldnt get a break. He's still viable but he's old. If he was able to switch into his clone he'd be a lot of fun. It'd be like playing Zed but a clown. Shaco's kit is what makes him but I believe he needs a tune up. Shen Shen, the eye of twilight. I remember watching the LCS and watching TSM play. I was and still am a fan of Dyrus. Watching him split push and then when there was a teamfight, he was able to push that lane and then quickly come join the fight at any time. Shen is questionable in many ways. If there's an AP team he doesn't gain MR per level which makes him not able to tank that damage, his taunt takes up a lot of energy if he misses he's useless for 5-10 seconds which could be a turning point. His Q needs to be buffed in terms of damage, otherwised he's just a sitting duck up there being no threat at all. Taric Then we got Mr. Fabulous, well his splash art should already tell you what's wrong with him. I'd say the most outdated champion in League of Legends.

First time posting on the League of Legends forum and felt I should express my thoughts with the League of Legends community.

Cheers~

I can't stand Taric since they changed his passive. He just doesn't fit my playstyle anymore.

Aatrox

Drain/Regen tank/fighters like Aatrox, Mundo and Warwick are in a bad spot right now because there's a bit of a design schism between the factors of out-of-combat healing (including running into the jungle and healing up) and in-combat healing. Both are being very finicky atm, with executioners calling being removed and warmogs changes, a lot of these mechanics are even still in flux and the aforementioned champions are hard to change without creating some really annoying power spikes/losses.

Kha'zix

Went from being able to 100-0 most anyone except a straight tank to barely being able to pop an ADC. He was chained nerfed as well as a victim of the assassin->tank meta shift, so not only is it harder to find people by themselves it's simply harder to kill people, and he depends on those resets to snowball.

Shaco

Riot's balance has always had a love-hate relationship with stealth champs. Rengar changes being a prime example. Play that on top of a lot of people loving both AP Turret-happy Shaco and AD crit-to-win Shaco it's hard to change/update him without pissing a lot of people off, and needlessly too as you said he's not in a bad spot power wise, he's just a bit clunky/aged.

Shen

He was actually disabled in pro-play for quite a while up until recently due to a stupidly difficult to isolate bug with his ult (1/1000 or so chance to not tele when he ulted). Normally this wouldn't be a huge issue, as there's a good chance you'd never run into in a game, but with professional play that bug could cost a team a tournament and a huge sum of money so they played it safe.

So, inevitably, the pro-meta had to evolve without him and the people who watch and copy the pros did as well. Combine that with his ult getting nerfed with all the other truly global ultimates and he fell out of favor quickly. He's coming back though with the summoner tele changes and the tank meta returning.

Taric

He's ooooooooooold. That is all.

Also, welcome to the boards!

You will quickly notice Riot developers **DONT GIVE A FUCK **Unless you're :

A. In the LCS B. A pro team C. A **HUGE **streamer D. Challanger/Master tier

They have displayed this lack luster response so many times when it comes to anyone on the board... check the Viegar "compensation" he got and everyones concern about it and Rito hasn't given a meaningful response to any of it. That Sona rework? "extensive PBE testing" ended up being A SINGLE FUCKING WEEK in which all feedback was ignored, a certain rioter who i wont name said something to the effect of "we are the developers, it's our game, we will do whatever we like, and ignore whatever feedback we like" before riot went completely dark on all post regarding Sona's rework. if you'd like the link AND the rioters name i'm sure i can dig it out for you

Shen needs at least model update.
