Closing of Dominion
Dominion has been my favorite mode since launch, its removal saddens and angers me.
One thing through all the neglect dominion still holds above all other modes is training. If you want to learn how to play a champion you play dominion. You get your choice of 20 minutes of teamfights or 20 minutes of laning and BAM. Game's over next game. No other mode offers that and if only for that reason dominion should remain.

Edit: I exclusively played dominion for atleast a year when the mode first came out. The faster games made getting together to play with friends easier. We could get in 3 games of dominion for every game of rift. Where as a single bad game of rift would sour the night with dominion we would move on to the next game of dom with the most crushing of loses taking a whooping 10 minutes.
Over the years the queue time to get into dominion has ballooned to roughly 8 minutes for me. At that point I was playing with players in the single digits of games played aswell with sub 30 accounts(note:I'm in the thousands for games played). This is what led me to stop playing dominion.
These days I only play dominion when learning to play a new champion or learning ability combos. With the higher tempo pace dominion is the place to go if you want to learn a champ. With the closing of dominion I don't look forward to having to play rift with a fresh champion.
Dominion houses my fondest memories of league and it will be missed. It's a shame it will be closed by Riot because "effort". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hw71lDozgO4
