Underwhelming akali games. Help ;-;

I think I should come to face the fact that my akali game is terrible sub-par; I feel like I have to rely on people to make any plays, and at the end of the game my damage is lower than what I feel it should be. I've snowballed with akali before and it's pretty easy in norms, but in ranked I just can't quite get there.

A big thing is I can't keep killing my enemy laner. I'll get maybe 2 kills, and they'll start playing smart/getting jungle support when I want to try to kill them again. It feels so complex; I have to go in so deep and pray to meteos the enemy jg doesn't finish me.

Roaming isn't easy. Seems like bot constantly has vision in river, and if top is tanky, it's like I just can't make in impact.

I need help, I want my akali game to be better. Videos online are pretty much just people getting quradras as the team is trying to retreat, and they're already fed. I just don't know how to get akali working properly when people aren't dumb, and without relying on others to help me.
