Why isn't there 10 bans in threes?

There is a competitive scene in threes and recently I have seen they have done stuff to the draft like everyone gets one ban now which is nice. But why do we only get a 3 bans on each side when for in 5s we get 10. I understand there are more roles but in 3s there is a very consistent meta. With 10 bans you can become more diverse and make the competitive scene a lot more interesting and fun. Now 10 bans would be weird in champ select because one person would only get 1 ban or maybe 1 person does all 5 bans. Maybe everyone deserves 2 bans a piece. I would really appreciate it if you guys could possibly looking into these changes.
