Honestly, just because his numbers are bad now
Doesn't mean you arent going to have to address how backwards ass chogath's kit is. His kit combines the health stacking potential of sion W with an incredibly cancerous ever growing % shred on his E along with a flat damage nuke on his R.
The % shred makes him cancerous to face as a bruiser as the game goes on and the ever increasing nuke on his r makes him deadlier and deadlier against squishy targets vulnerable to stoneplate ult flash.
Keep in mind this insane damage output is combined with the fact that he builds pure tank items.
A tank is a tank. And no tank should ever have high dmg potential against all targets while still being a top tier tank. back when you were on a binge of giving as many tanks as possible %hp damage on the failed notion that %hp is supposedly target agnostic (it's not, nice try though), you made sure that the tanks that were given %hp did not also have retain the relatively high amounts of flat damage they used to have. You for some reason forgot to keep this when you made chogath, who enjoys access to both.
Chogath still sees pro play from time to time despite his numbers being hit a few times by riot. It's because his passive makes lane incredibly safe for him and that's combined with the aforementioned issues above (and we can't forget the insane objective control he provides with a 1k minimum smite attached to his ultimate which also counts as a valuable non-minion stack for all epic monsters).
You'll have to address the fuckery you made with chogath's update back then, if not now, then later. One thing that is for certain is that the current iteration of chogath is not in line with healthy game design.
