ANNIE ULT IS BS!11!1!1! REWORK RITO (Calling Annie mains for help)

I've seen a lot of people talk about Annie's ult lately, how it has no counter play and no reaction time to dodge, and while some people are fine with it and others are not, I was wondering what could be done to make it more fair for both sides. My personal opinion would be like a Fizz ult style, Annie tosses Tibbers in a line, when reactivated again or reaching desired distance, Tibbers summons, damaging and stunning if she has 4 passive stacks. I amy work on a reference image for what I'm talking about later but I digress.

How do Annie mains feel about her ult? What can be done to make more counterplay?

Judging that one of the most complained problems with annie is the fact that none of her abilities are skill shots and simply click to wins, so yes, tibbers acting more like a ziggs ult and bombing an area feels a lot more suitable than a bear spontaneously appearing from the depths of hell dealing damage > half of your health bar and if done right stunning your team for a fat stack amount of time, leading to incredible team fight swings and power.

Although this would in fact help annies' play style health, we need to go deeper. Annie as a whole is annoying so we need to do something....more, I'm talking a big re-work. Now to first make a champion appear balanced, we need to make the lore as complicated as possible. The new annie can be a confusing character, with a strange origin and questionable eligibility. Put her in her teens, a little girl spitting hot fire in the middle of a crucial battle doesn't seem realistic enough for the game.

Up next, we need a new art design. A frail skinny girl with basic clothing and kitty ears just ain't gonna cut it. We need to go further, I'm talking tank, like, a fat tank with tank treads, and jordans for maximum agility.

For the last addition in the quest to expose annie's dog shit balance we need to hit home, we need...to buff everyone, but hey thats just a theory....A SHIT THEORY

She has no range, dont be in range. That's the counterplay.

She just needs to be able to throw Tibbers. It makes sense in both theme and mechanics.

Still no idea why they still haven't done so.

What? As of 6.9, Annie's ult and W was given a 0.25s delay already. What more do you want to take away from a 600-range ultimate. Her stun atm is sometimes clunky and sometimes doesn't even stun the enemies even if the damage is applied (especially when Ult was used).

Want counterplay?

Play around her Pyromania, If she uses her stun on a minion, make her pay for it and harass her/all-in her.

She has a mediocre wave clear. She can get easily outpushed by popular mid aners with superior wave clearing.

Respect her range. She has 600-625 ranges on all of her spells.

Annie needs summoner 4 Without it, she's basically easy to gank and too immobile and will rely on her teammates to engage.

Counterpick her with these champions that completely outrange her and/or make her laning phase hell. Syndra Orianna Xerath Azir Cassiopeia

Buy defensive items! They are there for a reason and will mitigate her damage and/or her stun. item 3102 item 3001 item 3194 item 3065 item 3091 item 3140 item 3139 item 3111 item 3222 item 3174 item 3156

And lasty, if you're a carry, practice your positioning. Annie excels at punishing mispositions. One mistep and you get in her range is your fault.

Annie is actually struggling right now because of how easy she gets outpushed and harassed in lane.

If annie's R need a counterplay nerf then close this game, cuz every champs have skills that need counterplay jahaha

Annie without her R and stun is garbage. She is easy to counter only with your position, more easy impossible
