Is it impossible to climb out of bronze as support?

Stuck in bronze 5 wondering if there was a way to climb out playing as a support. I like to think I'm a pretty good support player that does not deserve to be stuck in bronze 5 but I always get people who don't know the mechanics of the game and just run up to the enemy under their tower auto attacking them or a good player who gets fed in his lane and thinks he's King Kong so he tries to 1v5 everyone and ends up just drawing the game out so the enemy team catches up anyway. I'm not good enough to carry a whole game by myself but damn I think im good enough to at least be playing with people who are familiar with the mechanics .

Short answer: yes.

Less short answer: you can carry as support, though not the facerolling-100-0 the enemy carry. Do the shot calling. Watch the map. Poop out 3 wards every now and then. Also, try and provide advice, and always stop the carries from dying in team fights. And try to roam in laning phase, either to deep ward or assist an ally.

P.S. Never die to place or clear a ward. Nottttttt worth it. Just know when and where it's safe to ward.

I wouldn't say it's impossible, but definitely difficult unless you're at a much higher skill level than your opponents.

It's not impossible, but it depends on how you're playing support. There's two approaches:

playmaker champs (just kill the enemy so the kittens on your team can't hurt themselves)
laserpointer playstyle (use pings on ally faces to get their attention and warn them of ganks, tracking the enemy jungler and pinging them out whenever you see them. Then use blue pings ----important: DO NOT USE OMW ping--- to ping objectives and incoming minion waves 15-30 seconds in advance so allies go there. Use blue ping so that they can't blame or dismiss your "advice." Do not type it out. Typing is a waste of time)

You have only played 38 games took me about 100 games to climb out of bronze as support and this is my first time playing ranked.

I go sightstone majority of my games and I'm constantly putting out wards. I'm least comfortable with roaming as we never have any map presence I'm constantly pinging when we push up too far to fall back as usually all other lanes are feeding and allowing mid and top to tp and roam everywhere my wards are usually the only wards on the map there was one game where we pushed in bot wave and the sivir had 15% percent health she goes in enemy side bush to hide while I back I'm begging her to just press b but she waits for the enemy bot lane to come back in lane and jumps out the bush not even bothering to lifesteal any creeps and just tries to auto attack a full health bot lane vayne and blitzcrank. She dies and that happened for the rest of the game despite my 10 different surrender pleas.
