Riot Chose to "Fix" Dynamic Queue Now?
I can't seem to get my head around Riot's logic after watching that round table video.
Riot says they will try to "fix" DQ to help Solo players after saying they will "fix" it for Diamond+.
So that pretty much means that Riot, EVEN after knowing how HOTS and DOTA's Dynamic Queue turn out, decided to release the SAME queue, then decides to tweak it. Even as quoted by Marc "Tryndamere" Merill as to saying: > Some of you may wonder, "so why ship it if it isn't finished"? Our answer there is nothing is ever finished in League. We make a call about when something is "good enough" and we get it out to the door and then we build from there.
Who decided that this piece of work was "good enough"? Clearly, the Queue was far from ready for release and Riot paid for it by the backlash. They should have known this would cause an uproar and spend more time fixing the thing before even considering about releasing it. They saw how DOTA and HOTS did it.
Don't release unfinished stuff!
You sound like EA with the release of Battlefront and Battlefield. "Its buggy as hell, but its its good enough. RELEASE IT!"
Its like being given a fancy new car.
You think you're getting this:

But you're actually getting this and everything else won't come for another year:

Riot, releasing underpowered and overpowered champions is okay, I can deal with that. Usually fixed in a week or 2. Releasing unfinished champions, ITS A NO GO! Would players want to play Garen without his ult? I wouldn't.
So why should you do the same for DQ? If I was your science teacher and you give me only a quarter of a project, do you expect me to give you a decent grade?
