I wanted for RIOT to implement ff 15 some time ago.
Now i want them to implement it at 10.
Now i want them to implement it at 10.
That would just further promote the defeatist mentality that's already growing in League. What's the point of effort if you can simply end the game via demoralizing your team into giving up without learning to improve?
Why not at 0 minutes while you're at it? You seem to be the kind of guy that would 'know the game's already lost at the start'
Surrender at 15 was an indication of the horrible direction Riot has taken League in. It never should have gotten to the point of needing a surrender at 15. They should have just fixed the damn game so people wouldn't feel the need to surrender so soon
Or, what they could do... and I know this is a radical idea but get ready... Riot could actually take some steps to slow game pacing a bit and mitigate early snowballing so that we don't have to FF at 15 and that most games aren't even /ff worthy. I know, I know, fantasy land type of stuff that will never happen, but it's an idea that's crazy enough to work!
As it stands currently, 90% of the games I play are decided one way or the other at 15 minutes, at least 70% are decided at 10 minutes.
Since patch 8.1 I can only recall one game in which a 'comeback' occurred. Most games are incredibly one sided, even the few games that aren't basically end after one team wins a team fight in mid, destroys the base in 20 seconds and that's it.
The 'tug-of-war', back-and-forth type of games are clearly an anomaly anymore.
What's the point of playing? I have never seen a game at ten minutes where it would be impossible to come back and win. There are plenty of games where I will have to WORK for the win at that point. And that's the problem. People want easy wins. "If it's not easy, if it won't be a stomp in my direction from the get go, if it won't be a gratifying flashy win where I can honestly type 'ggez' then I don't want to play."
People won't be happy with ff at 10 either. They would want a ff at 5 and then they will just want an option to opt out of playing a match if it looks like it will be to hard.
Play to win. Play to learn. Not to stomp.
