Taric's ult is way too strong in too many situations

Honestly, the community kept saying to stop releasing invulns, and now we get aoe Kayle ult on a champ that builds nothing but cooldown. The thing is up every minute. Normally when one person goes invuln, you just kite or focus a different target but what can you do when there is no target because the invuln area is huge?

EDIT: I should also mention that with max cdr, depending on the intelligence mastery, this ult gets down to a 60 or 55s cooldown. That means it's up for every fight. It destroys hard engage characters automatically.

It doesn't block CC.

Vayne, Gragas, Lee Sin, Blitz, can all counter him from hitting others on his team with his ult. For sure he is going to be invlun + his W target will be. But you can prevent it from being the whole team at least some of the time. In otherwords, there is counterplay it's just not counterplay on every champ.

It has a 2.5 second delay, ample time to react to it and adjust plan of action(s), and it has an incredibly long cooldown (longer than most ultimates)

I have to disagree with it destroying hard engage characters automatically, if any one gets hard cc of on taric befor his cast it will delay him that much longer, if teams want to try to use his ulti on everbody they also will have to cluster up, creating a higher risk vs any form of aoe comp. You end up banking on him being able to cast it properly to avoid getting wrecked, or you spread out and his ulti becomes less effective and you still have options. If its cast well its a game changing teamfight tool, much like Galio Fiddlesticks Amumu Malphite but things can still go south for his team. Also as mentioned knock backs become super usefully vs him.
