whats the point of the honor system?
I am sure ill get down voted for this but nothing I'm about to say is incorrect you can go 6 years with no punishment, not even a warning then have a single bad day and be a bit of a dick to a few trolls or assholes and its gone. No rewards nothing, You're just done. What is the point of a system showing how good you are when it takes so little to ruin it all. You don't even have to insult anyone, threaten anyone, tell someone to hurt themselves, use hate speech, just being a bit of a dick is all it takes in 4 games.
Then you have to get your honor back by being honored by 3 people repeatedly over and over as if that's an indication of anything. No one even really bothers to honor in the first place. When they do its for whoever carried and even then not every time so you better be a god level player or you're fucked for life after that punishment.
Then you get no rewards (not that riots reward system is even on the same universal scale as EA loot box rewards. Seriously at least the in game loot boxes from EA don't need three keys to unlock that you get at random from honor when no one honors and when they do its usually just for their friends. Seriously how often do you see everyone honored someone on your team? Like never. Good luck getting those. THEN you need to dust whatever you get the first 200 times because nothing gives much dust everything costs five bajilion dust. Then you have to wait for something in those loot boxes that are completely random that you even want. It's like to get ANYTHING you have to win the lottery 237 times and that's not much of an exaggeration.)
So being good nets you pretty much nothing and being bad nets you nothing. incentive just doesn't equal the perfection demanded by riot when 4 mild games of assery get you banned our of 6 years and no matter how honorable you where for that time means less than nothing. So whats the point of this system? The victorious skin? only gold players get that, and many of them are kinda ugly.
