I've played 20+ games today as Zed, a few of them I didn't die a single time, placed wards whenever I could, swept wards, and got a decent amount of assists. I keep getting A+'s and it's frustrating because I feel like I'm missing something. Anyone have experience getting S's with assassins?
I can almost guarantee it's because of farm.
It goes by K/D/A, baron/dragons, towers, cs etc.
The formula for most champions goes> Time:CS>Deaths>Kills>Assists. There is possibly other factors but wards have nothing to do with it sadly.
So for each time bracket 20-25-30-35-40-55 there is a different number for kills needed and all that jazz to get an S. S+ you need to have ONLY 2-3 deaths just a heads up, some champions you can only have 1 death for an S+, can't remember which one that was, i think it was a mid lane assassin.
So yeah the hardest points to get a S or S+ is the 20 min mark, 40 and up. Those are incredibly hard to get S+ for.
The best way to gauge how much you need for a S or S+ is go to Champion.gg and check the general stats for the champion, see what most players get CS wise and kill wise. Then work on your play style from that to get S, otherwise just keep playing good.
If you get A+ with great scores its 100% because of farm. Farm is much more important for S than K/D/A, perfect 10/min farm can even bring you S with an average or even bad score depending on the champ.
Play him jungle and do well, it's a guaranteed good letter grade. Champions who consistently perform well with lots of kills and assists are difficult to get high grades on because the system compares you to the average player (which is subject to the lane played in), which is why you don't see tanks always getting C's because they have no kills. Playing weird off positions usually can get you a good score.
You guys were right, it was my farm. Just finished a match with 80 more cs than anyone else, 6/2/11 KDA, and got an S. Thank you guys!
