Caution : Wall of text but necessary to make point evident

Its pretty clear that Riot over the years has tried to make it harder for one skilled player to carry the whole game by adding an abundance of "noob friendly" changes to the game a few of which I am going to list really quick :

  • Various changes aimed at impeding tower dives of which the last one is especially aggravating to me. Being attacked by towers when hitting enemies who are not even in its radius is beyond stupid.

  • Insane amount of shutdown gold which often offsets the whole advantage the skilled player has acomplished before, not only rewarding too much gold but also distributing it over the whole team. This even happens if the fed player is taken down by multiple players. Never should a feeding player get even a lead after getting a kill on his 5 0 opponent after receiving help from 2 or more of his teammates. Ridiculous to see an 1 5 player be more fed than a 5 1 one.

  • Getting XP if enemy dies when youre dead and in range of his corpse.

  • All changes made to death timers

  • Rewarding farming way too much and kills too little ( apart from the massive shutdowns which reward bad players)

  • Facilitating a lot of combos which made certain champions hard for the majority of players to pick up ( for example alistars combo which is very powerful point and click lockdown previously gated by precise timings which can now be done very easily) which makes the whole game a lot more casual.

  • One of the worst ones in my opinion: Making Crit the go to starting item for most adcarries resulting in "RNG skillbattles" as opposed to the very snowbally but more skill dependent bloodthirster times. I have had numerous occurences in which the enemy ad crit me 4 times in a row with only 40 % crit killing me in 4 shots too early in the game. Of course making crits more powerful on certain champs makes this even more ridiculous. ( Vayne low crit chance crit 1/2 of your health early game)

  • Another terrible one RNG DRAGONS : Yes this is the peak of terribleness, cant tell you how much I hate this and how detrimental it is for the competitive integrity. You might be able to pick a late game comp and get by just fine with the enemy getting ocean or clown drakes or get completely dominated because you cant contest the triple infernal RNG ALL SIMPLY BECAUSE OF LUCK. Unforeseeable and really disappointing to see that still nothing has been done about this. The gold dragons were BY FAR the best ones to ever exist but of course riot doesnt like them because they make comebacks a lot harder.

  • This one ties in with the last point : Riot LIKES clownfiestas. And its their fault. The game is desgined in a way that makes comebacks very likely and games unpredictable which makes the game more enjoyable and winnable for the team being behind and fun to watch likewise but completely disregards the competitive nature this game once had!

These are just some of them I dont like the direction the game is taking( with the upcoming addition of RNG plants) most long time players will agree that apart from graphics the game has gotten worse every season after its peak during S3/4. Of course player count has gone up as a result of those noob friendly changes but the games quality cant take hits in return. TLDR : Game has gotten more casual over time
