The Two Dreams of League (dynaQ)
People who play league have the (usually) unattainable goal of going pro. While it may be impossible, it is still fun to try and go after this goal it shows mastery in this sport. The higher up in the ladder the
closer you are to your goal of being one of the pros.
THE DREAMS: people either want to get to the pro scene by themselves and get signed onto a team, or they want to get into the LCS in their already made five person team. These have always been the two subset dreams of the league community. Whichever one you tried to do one of these are what we are after when we play ranked. The old system captured this perfectly. Having a team 5v5 queue and a solo queue. These two queues gave both subset of dreamers their outlet to be ranked according to their dream.
HOW DYNAQ FAILS: yea yea, "dynaQ sux I should be challenjour" is what your hearing from this, just bare with me and make your judgments later. DynaQ takes the solo queue dreamers and says "Sure, you can do that, but you will be graded against the same people who will be a 5 group, not just your skill" this effectively ruins that solo queue dream cheapening your experience with league. The reverse is for the fives dreamers as well. They are graded on levels with solo queuers cheapening the experience as well. But this fives team will also get separated at diamond. They will NEVER be able to achieve their dream. @RIOT if you can't deliver on these two dreams, then you are ignoring the majority of your players. If the current system after its many revisions can't deliver on these dreams, just bring back the old system. IT WORKED.
Tldr: dynaq ruins the dream of both solo queue pro, and five-minute pro team from the players thst play their game.
NOW you make your judgements.
