Lag spikes all day

So I really want to know what is going on with the game servers. I played around 5-6 games and all my teammates/enemies constantly disconnected and had lag spikes up to 10.000 ms. First I though my internet have something to do with it but after all the players reported the problem I guess something is wrong with your servers. Can you please at least put a notification when you doing something so I won't even try to play until it's fixed..... riot support at it finest.
