Edit: There's some posts below about Riot banning in waves and Riot working hard but some bots slip through the cracks. The slipping through the cracks I can say from person experience over the last 2 nights is bullshit. I have had more bots on my team than real people every game. Also why ban in mass waves? You are literally forcing new accounts to play a certain number of bot games before they can even consider queueing up for blind pick. Imagine someone who has never played this game before ending up with 4 scripts that run it down mid. What are they learning from playing that game? How much fun do you think that new comer is having? These bots are pretty damn obvious to see for two reasons. 1. They run it down mid and 2. they do this shit every game. There is no reason why riot cannot have bots with these two parameters set to autoban in the next patch. Yeah there will still be scripts that afk in lane or jungle but at least they're not running it down mid. It doesn't matter how free the game is. If the game turns to shit no one will play it.

I just had one, programmed to auto go to jungle and wait for minor spawns.

Riot likes bots because they count as "players" they can show to advertisers and E$ports investors in dying region NA. You're seeing the tip of the iceberg, there are more bots than real players at this point, and they are fighting each other constantly at an ELO so low you will never meet them. Dead game.

The last 5 games in a row, 3 or 4 players are bots, same champs, same patterns... surely this isn't that hard to detect? Banwaves either aren't coming fast enough to keep the rot spreading, or as people in the forums suggest, this is a tactic riot are using to keep the platform looking profitable. Regardless, the game itself feels ruined by this. :/

Why are bots so stupid? They just run it down mid. They could be programmed to just stay in lane instead.

Its done in waves so people who make the scripts cant just get instant feedback and edit their scripts until they figure out what riot is looking for.
