Mages who get nerfed cuz of support.

Mainly I'm thinking of Zyra, but any champ could apply. Not even just mages.

Ok so.

Zyra was intended for mid lane, and I think she was pretty fair. I got mastery 7 Zyra, exclusively from mid. (all after MYMU, never played old Zyra)

Then she started going support, and the same kit seemed toxic.

She gets nerfs. Now she is weak in mid.

Ok so, I have an idea, but it has its own problems. Maybe you guys can help build the idea.

My initial idea, is make a passive that says, "get X buff when no allies are near" or "get X nerf while allies are near"

The buff/nerf would not even need to be huge, just enough to hinder them as a duo lane.

Obviously the problem is, when they get a gank, or laning ends and the team groups mid, the MID LANE would suffer the same as the support.

Maybe..... you could have it taper off per lvl, and by lvl 11 the passive is gone.

It seems overly complicated, but..... effective, and lets be honest, this game is complicated as fuck.

If it makes champs like Zyra viable in mid, and fair in duo lane, it's worth adding a somewhat complicated passive.
