Ranked 5's Placement question.

Hello, So my team just did its 5 placement games and we won all of our matches only to be placed in silver 4.. Now my question is why would a team who has a 1 Diamond, 2 Plats, and 2 gold players on its team not placed higher? Thanks for your time.
