Champion Select Problem: Fixing Masteries

I myself am a player who enjoys changing out masteries for different circumstances. I am penalized often due to not selecting a champion during champion select because I am changing masteries and the new timer is harder to read above the masteries page.

My suggestion. Add an alert message over the masteries page at like 5 - 10 seconds or change the client to be multi-tab over champion select for masteries and summoner spells so that you can swap back to "in-progress" masteries that haven't been saved yet.
