REMOVE THIS ANNOYING ASSUMPTION OF A KILL STEAL EFFECT IN AN MMO GAME FROM YOUNG PLAYERS

To me any player that spams a kill steal effect in this particular game whether it be in AI mode or PVP mode does not seem to grasp the idea of what an online MMO is where you have a group of players working together to complete or tackle and strategize the outcome of the game on the maps. This game has the types of games either for [ 5 vs 5 OR 3 vs 3 ] type mode games. Even in PVP mode games there is somehow always a player spamming KS effect by which he takes its mainly [1 vs 5 OR 1 vs 3 ] type mode games. They clearly do not understand the concept of MMO gaming and in my opinion should play other games that suit their needs of playing solo gameplay like Standalone PC Games like Call of Duty, Assassins Creed, etc. Those games are for the solo gameplay type of users who wish to enjoy the game. I like these games as well but I feel the games like this one or Warcraft or Lineage II or any other online MMO game these players who rage, type abusing words or do not cooperate or compromise with the group plays in such a game seriously do not understand how an MMO game is structured out and understand also its mechanics and concepts for which the game is meant to be played.

While often the term "KS" is misused or simply inappropriate, as it is a team game where killing the enemy is a good thing, there are appropriate times where calling it a "Kill Steal" is appropriate, such as;

  1. The Support taking kills when the enemy in question had absolutely no chance of escaping from (or harming) the Carry you're supposed to feed.

  2. Someone keeps their abilities off CD specifically to get the last hit on an enemy that other people worked hard to take down.

Most of the time it's just someone crying for no good reason, but there are times when KS is a thing.

For one, League of legends is not an MMO, it's a MOBA. Two, In this game, if you have carries on your team and they can help you will 100% easier if they are fed (almost any adc, Yasuo, Riven, Lissandra, gnar, etc.) It's ALWAYS better to give them a kill instead of the support tank or the jungle tank and even better for the carry to take the kill over the 0/4 shaco or similar champ. It's Stupid how you think this isn't a strategic element in league of legends. If your team wants to have a defined and clear advantage, it's always better to have a carry fed on your team and taking kills to make them stronger then the next guy who will do almost nothing with that gold. Kill stealing is a terrible thing is league if you are constantly setting your carries behind by taking practically free gold from them to further set your entire team behind in the process. Sharing gold is what Pro's do in the LCS to even out the gold per player not counting the ADC because they do need as much as possible or it will become way harder to gain an advantage in fights. If one adc's score is 7/1/0 VS the other ADC with the score of 0/1/7, They will clearly have a defined gold, experience and item advantage against the other and making it almost impossible to carry a teamfight.

People get too stuck in the meta. I love paying Vel'Koz support and the biggest complaint is always that I KS. Although It makes no sense because im going to end up with the most damage in the game anyway... so who is really stealing the kills.

The ADC doesnt have to be far ahead of everyone to be useful. A kill lane bot is a good strategy. When you start pulling punches often bad stuff happens. If you destroy the opponents time and time again then it really doesnt matter who is getting the kills. Only in very tight pro games where the score is 1:3 at 30 minutes does it make a bigger difference who got those kills.

The funny thing is. Even in COD. You are still a team just trying to kill the enemy.

KS = 1 kill 1 assist Stand watching = 1 kill 0 assist, but typically 1 kill 1 death 1 assist because said player died in the attempt and I have to mop it up.

KS is a finer in either case. Anyone complaining just mutes him and move on.

KS stands for kill secured not kill stolen

Eh, kill stealing is a thing but only sometimes. As long as it's not an obvious attempt to take the kill (for example, a Teemo using a Q to make sure he deals the lethal damage, or someone using an ult on a low enemy) and it's not intended, gold for the team is better than no gold.

It's not always clear whether the right decision is to hold off or to keep hitting the enemy, and I'd rather make sure they're dead. For example, if my ADC is low, enemy ADC is low, and I'm supporting, I'm not going to stop attacking the enemy because if they live any longer, my ADC might die first. Same if someone's escaping and I don't know whether the carry has anything up his sleeve to deal the last bit of damage.

In my experience, people who get upset about kill steals are unpleasant to play with, and are often the same carries who end laning phase with 50-80 CS.
