Veigar is literally the same fucking thing as syndra and yet nobody complains about him
Q until they are at 2/3 hp then press 1 ability and they are dead ok riot.

Veigar is nothing like Syndra. Veigar is very passive and easy to dominate in lane. Syndra on the other hand is impossible to engage on and has total control over her lane should she choose to abuse it. I love it when I get a Veigar to lane against. I know I can do whatever the hell I want. Syndra ?....I hope someone dodges.
because veigar's stun has a chance of being avoided
syndra's is instant
the difference is veigar actually has to land abilities to kill people, syndra currently stacks spheres and looks at you, and you die
I'd say he has plenty of counterplay.
Played Talon against him. Built 
, ulted, stealth activated the shied, and then Q'd him point blank and proced the passive off of all the blade driving into him.
He only had time to panic ult. Took no damage. :^)
Hint, you're trash at the game.
At least he has to stop if he's gonna cast something.
Syndra can move while casting spells.
Veigar don't have that long range poke or stun. He doesn't bully like syndra dude.
