Is Zed Fiora?
Of course, this isn't some overly-analyzed lore connection where I try to persuade you that the shadow ninja is actually a duelist frenchwoman.
Simply put, even though he's a fairly "new" champ and still costs 6300 IP in the store, should he get a rework like she did? (Note that she is only 8 months older than him.)
I think it would be cool if they focused a lot more on the shadows and allowed more interaction with abilities rather than just copying two of them.
Thematically, it makes little sense that the only champion in the game who makes a physical clone of himself is the only champion in the game whose clone isn't physical. Shaco and Leblanc are "masters" of illusion-- their clones are visual only, not physical. Yet they can be attacked and attack as if they were champions. Zed, on the other hand, makes a shadow clone of himself that is able to use his weapons and abilities, but can't be act like a champion.
He should be changed into more of a fighter, so that he can stand toe-to-toe with his nemesis, Shen, instead of just poking his massive healthbar. That'd also make balancing a clone-centered kit more easy without relying on the quick dive-and-retreat of an assassin. He'd then be allowed to splitpush without going against his intended role as an assassin, because he wouldn't often be able to 100-0 opponents without counterplay.
And this could be very easily balanced by keeping the color scheme of the current clones even if they're made into targetable units. The focus would shift to killing the right one because you know it's him, and would be a much more interesting gameplay mechanic than either of the other champions I mentioned, as well as his current blink.
