Patch 8.9 Baron buff

I have lost 2 games by making a stupid baron call because I didn't realize the baron got buffed. This is completely my fault. However, I don't like the idea that you effectively have to win a team fight before doing Baron. Before you can punish the enemy team's macro by sneaking baron if they are botside or unaware. Now if you do that, the chances of it actually working out are very low. Also, if they catch you in the middle of doing Baron you will have less health to fight because Baron corruption got buff. Ok I understand you can "dodge" the corruption. But honestly how many people actually try to dodge those things consistently?

tl;dr I feel that buffing baron makes it harder for you to punish poor macro and decision making by the enemy team.
