fizz is a fighter/assassin

fighters can build tank items and deal some damage.

Fighter champ fights you

oftentimes the best counter to this type of champion is just not trying to fight till later in the game.

or a build like this on other fighter champs.

item 3153 item 3156 item 3143

balancing stats is key to fighting these things sometimes or just being an extreme in one is an option as well, whatever

But yes, fizz can go full tank and deal some damage, itll be less than normal of course. What you want to do here is increase the HP you have to work with beyond what he can realistically deal with or just evade part of his damage somehow. Also keep in mind that fighter assassins tend ot try and isolate targets, close the gap fast, blue them up, then either sustain or escape or whatever

here are some other fighter assassins

XinZhao Nocturne Pantheon

Riven kindof counts Diana kindof counts Ekko I'd count this I guess

the last two arent really very assassinish most of the time.

Of these panth and xin come closest. Noc is a little different but same principle.

all of them get some sort of thing to help them stay alive, all of them can build full tank and still mess you up.

each one has some strategy to counter them with and its probably going to depend on your champ.

If a fighter assassin wants to go full tank and your team isnt ahead then you may want to consider a more defensive approach to dealing with them.

The most important part in dealing with such things is making sure everyone has time to react to them. That means get some defense and ward stuff. The next most important part is making sure you have someone to keep this champ form getting out of control. More often than not this will be the support, when supports are weak the assassin meta begins. No exceptions.

A weak support player vs a team with a strong assassin is sometimes a death sentence, that is part of why assassins tend to be very strong in games with bad players and shit supports, because shit support/control champs = assassin/mobility/instagibber overlords.

When these champs go full tank they minimize their damage usually but will deal it more often at more opportune times. If you get a defensive item it will buy you more time than it would normally. But then you must define this.. defensive item...

that said, give me any fizz team and I'll recommend you some items and strategy based on some logic you may disagree with but you'll get the general idea.

also note that you wont deal much damage with item 3153 item 3156 item 3143 on alot of champs but then a low damage build can counter this type of champ if you are playing one that can utilize this properly
