There's a difference between "being toxic and flaming" and telling people what they did wrong.

For those of you who love seeing people get in trouble, get a grip. Telling someone what they did wrong/could do better next time is NOT punishable and not "OMG he's flaming me" material.

  1. Support or Report?

Is someone telling you strategic & tactical things you could do and what not to do, or are they telling you you suck and should kill yourself? It may seem easy to indentify but in most cases it isn't.

Key words are the, well, key words for this. Strategy Words to look for: should, shouldn't, idea, maybe, okay, another, good Toxic words to look for: bad, retard, suck, kys, kms, omfg, bc, why

If you see a sentence that has any of these words, determining the difference should be easy.

  1. Try it out

Spot the differences:

Which is the helpful sentence:

  1. " you shouldn't have done that, that was bad, kys"
  2. "maybe you should try another thing"

In ths case it's obviously #2. However, it can vary:

  1. "You shouldn't do that bc it sucks"
  2. "You should do this instead"

Again, obviously #2.

  1. "you should do this instead bc that doesn't work it's bad"
  2. "you shouldn't do that, it's not a good idea"

Which one is the helping sentence?
