Here's why effective GA buffs are a good thing.

Putting the defensive items of ADC to a point where they're also effective against AD means that we can then take away other generalist defensive items from them (Sterak's with its HP and shield) and nerf the anti-AP ones that currently need to be overbearing so as to do something against ADs too (Maw).
