Mmr

Hello, I'm forgottengamer03 and I was wondering about something that you might know the answer too. As the season ended I was silver 4, but then in the preseason i started to play lots of Kennen I am now silver 1. I looked on Op.Gg and my MMR is the same as when I was silver 4 making me gain only 17 LP per game. Is there a reason why my MMR is not increasing what so ever or decreasing?
