Draven: "The Glorious Executioner" with no execute abilities.

A champions game-play and story should go hand in hand with each other. Like Ezreal is the prodigal explorer but only his ult grants a little bit of vision for exploration and Draven is the glorious executioner with no execution ability. Riot's champion designers have done a very good job with keeping story and game-play matched but some elements have been left unfixed which in my opinion totally make no sense. Draven (My favorite champ) has the title of glorious executioner yet not one single element of his kit is capable of executing enemies. His kit is based on high AD damage that remains static regardless of how much HP his target is missing. Jinx "The lose cannon" has an ultimate that is a guaranteed execute with an AOE damage radius after the initial impact if she lands it from across the map while Draven who is supposedly an "executioner" has to line up his narrow ult perfectly for it to land then waste time looking at the enemy in order to reverse it for the full damage. Most times when you don't completely miss the enemy just walks to the side and laughs at you in all chat because you died while try to reverse the ult on them and still didn't get the kill. His spinning axe mechanic is great but it doesn't reward a player as much for the effort it takes to pull it off. Even if you keep your axes up you will still be unable to out-trade most marksmen because there is no way to make the axes stay in one spot for very long and you waste time running to catch them while the enemy is putting out sustained damage. His passive also makes him Draven: "The glorious investor" because it encourages you to invest in farming and then cash out your investment once you reach a decent amount of stacks which is still not easy. Draven needs to be given an element to his kit which will allow him to execute someone during a fight or better yet as his lore suggests while they run away from you. Increased damage based on how many axes hes landed or on enemies that run away from you or a stacking execute damage mark that is triggered if he lands his ult on you would make him an actual executioner. His mechanics could also use some work (axe falling distance) to make his kit feel a bit more smooth and not "turn back to catch axes and risk missing the kill or let the axe go and keep chasing and risk being turned on an killed". Draven is not necessarily in a bad spot right now but hes not in a great one either. Very few people play him (I don't mind because I always get to pick him) because of his weird feel and the difficulty of catching axes but the ones that do love and try to master him are not rewarded as much as they should for pulling off such complex mechanical plays. When will Draven get some love? I mean come on! Its his freaking LEAGUE! lol. If you view this thank you very much. Feedback appreciated.

Draven's Passive used to make target bleed upon being hit by axes.

...then they removed it cause it was oppressive and thought it would be more rewarding to have a cash killing passive.

IMO this made him boring and can show more feast or famine patterns if he can/cannot get kills while juggling axes while trying to not die.

Draven feels fine where he is at, but imho I think he should get less gold for individual kills and have an increase for chain kill/executions, like a double or a triple.

I think his ult pretty much counts, and his Q is pretty thematic to his lore. He doesn't just execute people, he does it with style.

"Executioner" is a job description. He "executes" people by fighting them in an arena.

His ult is also a pretty damn effective execute anyways.
