Akali rework?

It's been almost a year since the Assassin Update, and I am still waiting.

The fact that most mobile champions can kite "the unkitable" is very frustrating. This is because the combination of the R nerf (2 sec CD and slower travel speed) in the assassin update, and the E nerf two and a half year ago. If I play against an Yasuo for instance, he can simply E away while I R, preventing me from getting of the hilariously slow AA, to proc my Q. The same goest for most other mobile champions, like Ahri. Even if I manage to dodge both her Q and E, I will still lose the trade because I can not land any damage on her, because she simply R away from my AAs.

Right now, she is very hard to succeed with at mid, because of her ult CD, the lane is simply too short to kill anything unless the enemy play extremely risky. If I take Akali to top lane, I normally face a traditional top laner, who easily solos me with better base stats, and contribute WAY better in teamfigts.

Finally, I find it idiotic that her new passive revolves entierly around AAs, yet her AAs are insanely slow.

Ps. Akali is the only champion I can get 20 kills with, and still have trouble carring the game.

Its not Akali that is the issue. Its Yasuo (who is stupidly overloaded) and Ahri who can also dash from under her turret to almost under yours in under 2s, or LeB who can do the same all the while healing for 15% of all damage done because her Q chain is counted as single target damage.

Riot needs to REALLY nerf these mobile champs. They have very few weaknesses compared to non-mobile champs.

Her passive always revolved around her autos, even before the assassin update

Yes I think the same, I play league of legends much time and my first main was akali. But now I can`t play akali because is so hard if you compared with her old abilitys. I am saying that q+e, no q+AA. And when I start thinking abaout I have in my brain all asessins: Ahri Camille Diana Ekko Evelynn Fizz Kassadin Katarina Kayn Leblanc MasterYi Nidalee Shaco Yasuo Zed Talon and them Akali is, is... item 3632

In my opinion, Akali is a very strong champion and I've never seen anyone say that she isn't, especially now when her win rate is very good. According to champion.gg, Akali mid has a win rate of 50,90% and Akali top has a win rate of 51,59%. I must agree, she could really use a rework, since she's an old champion and everyone can clearly see that, but she's not weak at all. The real problem might be Yasuo or Ahri, they're really strong match-ups and Yasuo counters almost everyone.

Lol? An akali main just hit rank 1 in challenger. Yeah, sure, she's totally hard to succeed with. Must have just been luck. If you're getting 20 kills and can't carry the game, that means you need to work on your fundamentals, IE taking objectives after you get those kills instead of recalling or running out of the lane you just ganked, because clearly you're doing something wrong. There isn't anything wrong with akali. If anything, she's on the strong side.

Not only is she at a disadvantage against pretty much every other champ, she also has the most boring visual skill set at the moment. Even newer champs have had multiple reworks further defining them as individually unique champions. Though Akali is unique, it looks boring as sh!t. Even Irelia, who I've come closest to comparable visuals, has more interesting looking skills than Akali does. Mainly because of her awesome floaty-blades.

I mained Akali for 3 years before I stopped league for the past year or two because of RITO hating her. I came back hoping she was finally (at least top) on the list of getting a rework. No sign of any such thing.

I would not mind being beaten into the ground or reported for "troll pick" as much if it at least looks nice in the few seconds it takes for any other champs to look vaguely in her direction, killing her. Having skills that, regardless of damage, look like overkill.

Seriously, is it just me or does it always feel awkward to hit/kill an enemy Akali? It feels like I'm beating some new kid on a tricycle using a monster truck, and it's not satisfying at all. I feel sorry for the person.

And I feel like what Vyrzez sais, should be repeated: Akali mains high on rankings are NOT there BECAUSE of Akali,** BUT IN SPITE OF** playing as Akali. These are people who had more willpower than me (and probably masochistic? Haha.) when it comes to playing Akali main.
