Bruisers didn’t kill tanks, mages did

The complete over abundance of magic pen and the complete lack of magic resistance means that mages are so much harder to build against. This combined with the safer ranged nature of mages makes it impossible for low mobility champions like tanks to function. Its the worst feeling ever to see a champion who had an easier and safer laning phase outscale you.

Love how the bruiser mains keep scapegoating the mages while also fucking tanks into the ground.

This is totally false. I almost never mitigate over 100k damage against AD and it is rather common against mostly magic damage. In aram games as a tank against all magic, I have mitigated close to 300k while taking 70k before.

What on earth are you talking about? Most Tanks don't even bother bulding MR in the first place! They can facetank mages with their HP alone!

Tanks do not die to mages who aren't Ryze or Cass.

Tanks are meant to counter mages. However, they can't thrive in any lane due to being crowded out by Fighters, Brusiers, and ranged champions. Partly due to Conqueror, true damage, and other anti-tank abilities like anti-heal or shield popping.
