Fiddlesticks trait

So i was getting fiddlesticks but i still don't quite get his trait; i need to confirm some things. Standing still for 1.5 seconds makes you run fast for 1.5 seconds; and says "immobilising crowd control resets this timer" Does this mean if you stand still for 1.5 seconds, run for a bit and then use your q, does that mean it'll reset the running timer so you can run for longer? Or am i completely wrong? Thanks.

What it means is that when YOU get hit by a cc when standing still, the timer for when you get the movement speed resets.

So if you had .5 seconds left, then get hit by a cc, you have to stand still for yet another 1.5 seconds.

It means that if the reason why you stood still is that you were stunned or rooted, then you do not get the speed boost.
