Unfair Matchmaking Pre lvl 30

Hello everyone. My girlfriend recently started to play LoL with me and together with my friends. We are between Gold tier and Plat tier. She just started, and doesn't really have a lot of experience yet. When we play together, ofcourse, she will be matched against people who are about Silver/Gold, because I am Plat. However, (and this is where the fun begins) when she does NOT play a game with me (or any of my friends), she is STILL paired with silvers and golds, while she is only lvl 20. My poor girl can't even have a normal match with players from HER type of skill item 3070 . When she DID play with us, she didn't have a great KDA (only negative KDA if i remember well). This means she is DEFINITELY NOT a smurf.

Dear Riot: Please fix your matchmaking for pre lvl 30 people. She is NOT a smurf, she is still quite weak, and playing against Silvers and Golds are really demotivating her to play the game, since it is a lost match for her anyways! I hope Riot will make a note on this, and adjust some of the matchmaking. Greetings, Ekkienatorzz, Platinum 4

I have a post further down with some ideas about improving the new player experience you should give a quick look! doesn't talk about matchmaking as much, but I feel your pain. the new player experience is pretty terrible currently.

Well you bringing it into high games with you, boosted her MMR. Thats why she is facing those now.

I feel your pain had a game this morning in teambuilder .. my side Highest lvl 29 with me at the bottom lvl 26 vs x2 silver and a bronze with x2 29s to round out the team.

It was a fun gane ultimately but not really umm fair lol
