Afternoon my handsome league friends,

It has come to my attention that our beloved competitive play is becoming a thing of common tilt, abuse, or RNG. Now, I understand some of the aforementioned problems are hard to tackle and have been prevalent for a while, but it simply does not have to be that way. We can make a change.

Let us come together to make those changes.

Let's start with skillful players should not be so drastically punished. What this means is, the current system rewards a quite UNrewarding nature of dice roll. I understand if you enter solo/duo there is a chance of a teammate afking, feeding, lagging out, or having a bad game.... but none of this changes the fact that YOU the player has to be hit on the head and heart.

Scenerio: You're doing everything you possibly can, warding, helping team, winning lane, 12 and 2 maybe, fed.... yet all the other lanes are playing not too well. https://i.imgur.com/H7vobvZ.jpg)

WELLLL, we have a grade system. No matter how good you are... you can enter a losing streak, by why would an S ranking, or A ranking, player have to lose 20 or more lp? Why are you being punished for other people's tilts, afks, feeds, etc?

Proposal:

On losing team S rank grade - 75% lp loss reduction - unable to get demoted A rank grade - 40% lp loss reduction - unable to get demoted B rank grade - 10% - Can be demoted C rank grade - normal and below

This is my first proposal, I encourage you guys to join in with ways to make ranked better. We cannot combat things such as lagging out, afks, etc; however, we can make them less punishing and demotivating to play against. I love league, I want the game to flourish. With this proposal, those whom do welll would possibly tilt and flame less as you won't necessarily lose huge amounts of lp because of other's mistakes. You are at least rewarded in someway for TRYING. We want to encourage TRYING.

Eventually they're going to have to stop hiding behind the "the only thing that matters is which nexus falls first" non-sequitur and start having LP gains and losses depend more on individual performance. Nobody is saying that doesn't decide the game. They're trying to focus on the far more nuanced matter of what needs to happen in order to make the enemy nexus more likely to fall, and how some players contribute far more than others toward creating these conditions but, through no fault of their own, are overruled by others who detract rather than contribute.

The metrics are already in place.
