Irelia's ultimate would be better if it healed based on enemies hit, not damage dealt
Why? Here's a few reasons.
- Armor hugely reduces the amount of healing Irelia receives in team fights on live, and Irelia's never build armor penetration. Changing it would make armor a non-factor.
- It would be easier to balance, as the numbers would be far more consistent and adjustable. This could result in less healing in lane scenarios, but potentially more in team fights (for instance).
- It would be consistent with changes that were made to Renekton and the upcoming Swain changes. Both had their heals adjusted to work based on enemies hit rather than damage dealt since resists were blunting their heals.
- It'd make her ultimate feel more meaningful, as right now players only use it as a wave clear or a Sheen proc tool, not as a team fight weapon.
